Q: What’s the best way to show you my vision?
A: We pour you a glass of bubbly, you chat, we listen, we go back and forth for a bit, you send us some inspiration photos, and we let the magic happen. Our design inspiration comes from listening to you and taking cues from the stories that make you unique and inspiration photos you send our way.
Decisions were made and I changed my mind…is that ok?
A: Yep! Just don’t go changing things the night before like we (aka Tan) did on our wedding…
You get two revisions of the overall design with changes being allowed up to 1 month before the event. Minor changes that don’t involve product are allowed up to two weeks before.
Q: My friends can help you set up the tables. That cool?
A: I love that your friends want to help! However, I don’t want them calling me a dragon when I yell at them to “USE A RULER AND GET THE SPACING RIGHT!!!!”. Our team works seamlessly together, ensuring set up is quick and flawless. However, if you’re concerned about budget, there are packages that will teach you and your friends how to put together the perfect table.
Rentals Q + A
Q: How long do I have the rentals for?
A: Rentals are typically three days. If you need them longer, let’s talk.
Q: What if I’m late returning my rentals?
A: Late return charges are $25 dollars per day up to three days and the full rental charge thereafter.
Q: Do you deliver? Can I pick up?
A: Yes and yes! We offer delivery and pick up in the Greater Victoria region, starting at $25 each way. Depending on availability we may be able to deliver outside Victoria for an additional charge. If you prefer you are welcome to pick up and drop off yourself.
Q: How can I pay?
A: E-mail Money Transfers are the easiest, but good old cash works too. While we can accept major credit cards, we’ll be straight up and say, thanks to those pesky transaction fees, it’s definitely not our preferred method.
Q: Do I need to wash the dishes?
A: Nope – leave it to us. We do however ask that you/your caterers please scrape or rinse off all food from the dishes.
Q: How do I pack up the dishes?
A: When unpacking, please retain all packing materials for return. We don’t expect them to be returned expertly packaged, but please just ensure they are safe and secure.
Q: Oops I broke/stained/lost it! What now?
A: Items damaged due to negligence or misuse will be assessed a fee of three to five times the rental rate, or actual replacement cost.
Q: What condition is your vintage china in?
A: The vintage china is over 40 years old and bound to show some aged old love. While no piece will arrive chipped, cracked or overly faded, some may show small signs of age such as minor gold wear. We call this charm (oh the stories this china could tell) and hope you agree!
